In this blog post, we share the thinking behind the new Koff & Associates brand, which took into account how our business has grown in the past, how we are currently supporting our clients, and how we hope to evolve in the future.
Traditional accountancy is heavily focused on the past, adding up all the numbers to provide a clear account of what has been.
That has never been our approach.
Instead, we support our clients with 360-degree thinking. Rather than silos and tunnel vision, we look at every facet of our clients’ business and personal lives – including looking to the past, being clear-eyed about the present, and planning thoughtfully for the future.
This has been our approach since day one. Yet over the years, our team has grown and our services have expanded, spanning everything from tax planning and audit support to corporate structure planning and personal wealth creation.
Just as we help our clients evolve, we also decided recently that it was time for our business to start a new chapter – in this case, with a holistic rebrand to better reflect who we are, where we’re headed, and the impact of our work.
Introducing a new name & fresh look
We were founded in 1996 as Michael Koff & Associates. After 25 years, Michael remains a driving force within the firm he founded, yet our business has grown well beyond its original form.
Our recent rebranding is aimed at continuing to build on the legacy Michael and our team have created over the decades to ensure our brand will stand the test of time. With this in mind, we have introduced:
- A new name. Our days as a one-man show are long over. Today, we have a talented team that brings together diverse skills and deep expertise. To reflect this, we are moving forward with a new name as Koff & Associates.
- A new logo. Our 360-degree approach is aimed at understanding a client’s situation from all angles and guiding them toward an optimized future. This is reflected in our new logo, which represents both the 360-degree directions on a compass and an arrow pointing the way toward a guiding North Star.
- A new website. We help our clients constantly refine their plans and performance, and we do the same with our business. We have revamped our website to visually reflect our 360-degree approach and better communicate how we break down silos with holistic thinking.
